In this review, we take a look at Biotivia Transmax. Made with 100% pure and natural ingredients, this product claims to extend youth, improve cognitive function, help protect against heart conditions and manage weight. At $75 for a one-month supply, we were interested to see whether this formula really delivered on its promises.
When we analyzed the ingredients in these Resveratrol pills, we found many positive aspects. This product is made with 98% Trans-Resveratrol and does not contain a proprietary blend. This is crucial for a pure, effective Resveratrol product. Biotivia Transmax also contains 5mg of BioPerine® to increase absorption. This is critical as Resveratrol can have difficulty being absorbed into our bodies.
We noted that the dose of Trans-Resveratrol is 500mg. While this is standard in many Resveratrol products, it is not as high a dosage as we would have expected for such an expensive product.
Additionally, while we liked that this product includes Polydatin, we did not see any hard scientific data to prove that this is necessary for the absorption of Resveratrol like Biotivia claims.
Furthermore, there is no mention of the source of the Trans-Resveratrol found in Biotivia Transmax. The superior source for Trans-Resveratrol is widely known to be Japanese Knotweed. We would have liked to see what the source is for this product.
Finally, we had assumed that because of the only 500mg of Trans-Resveratrol, there would be an extra boost of Polyphenols included in this formula. Since Polyphenols are only made by certain plants and not by the human body, it would make sense to pack this product with as many of them as possible. Unfortunately, in this product, it was not meant to be.
This combination is a great start for a good formula, however, we definitely feel that it could be much better if there was a larger dose of Trans-Resveratrol as well as additional Polyphenols to boost the efficacy of the product. The manufacturer claims that this is an extremely popular based on all the research that has been done on Resveratrol, so we were looking forward to seeing proof as such. One of the best indicators of how well this will work is the feedback from people who have used it so we turned to actual customer reviews to see what people really think about it and how well (or not) it worked for them and whether they would recommend it. There is only one review on the product site. This review states that it is unfortunate that the timed-release version of Biotivia Transmax is always out of stock. This is a complaint that is reverberated on many customer reviews on Amazon. Many customers have found other Resveratrol products with 500mg of Trans-Resveratrol that are much less expensive.
This was not exactly what we expected to find, but it wasn’t altogether shocking, as high prices are not always indicative of quality, but it is still disappointing to read these reviews.
Is Biotivia Transmax Safe?
In general, this product is marketed as natural and safe. As always, we would advise consulting with your health care provider starting on any new health supplement.

Biotivia Transmax had the right idea by using only pure ingredients and containing 98% Trans-Resveratrol. These are two aspects we look for in an effective Trans-Resveratrol supplement. We like that this manufacturer also contains BioPerine® for optimal absorption of Trans-Resveratrol into the body’s cells. All these ingredients are found in the research showing benefits for Resveratol, however, there are several glaring omissions in this product.
One omission is that there is no mention of the source of the Trans-Resveratrol in this product. Usually, quality products are transparent in their ingredients as well as their sources.
Another omission is found in the Trans Resveratrol dose. While many products contain 500mg of Trans-Resveratrol, there are higher quality options that offer double this dose.
Because this dose of Trans-Resveratrol is not very high, we would have expected extra Polyphenols added to this formula in order to boost its efficacy. Unfortunately, this was yet another omission.
We do like that there is a money-back guarantee on Biotivia Transmax, however, it is only for 30 days. We usually look for a longer return period as it may take a month in order to see if a Resveratrol supplement works.
Additionally, we noted an autoship option. Both these details insinuate that the manufacturer is trying to reel in buyers without concern for customer service. For a product that costs $75 a bottle for a one-month supply, we would have hoped to have a stronger guarantee on this product.
The final point we noticed is that this company follows the international Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and it is manufactured in the USA. We feel that this product was almost there but would need a few tweaks to reach our prime position.
